Every printing spot in America, on one map.

97,002 places to print near you — print and copy shops, public libraries at 10–15 cents a page, shipping stores and office supply counters, with addresses and phone numbers. A library is usually the cheapest way to print a few pages; a print shop is the place for color, large runs, posters and business printing.

What this is

PrintingAtlas is a free directory of places to print in the United States, organised by state and city. Every listing has an address; most have a phone number, and where a business publishes its hours or services we show those too. Listings come from open data and from the businesses themselves, who can correct their card at any time — about the directory. Nothing on the lists is paid placement.

Pick a state above, or use the “near me” button to jump to the places to print closest to you. City pages show the full list with a map; state pages collect smaller towns that have a single location.

Popular cities

Cheapest first. A public library typically charges 10–15 cents a page for black and white and often gives you a handful of free pages per day; a shipping or office store runs closer to a dollar. If the job is small and can wait until the library opens, that is the difference between $0.30 and $3.

Common questions

Where can I print documents for free?

Public libraries are the usual answer: many give every card holder a small number of free black-and-white pages per day, and some let visitors print free without a card. Beyond that free printing is rare — university and community centers sometimes offer it to members.

How much does it cost to print a page?

Libraries charge about 10–15 cents for black and white and 50–75 cents for color. Shipping and office stores run roughly 50 cents to $1.50 per black-and-white page, more for color, but they are open later and handle larger jobs.

Can I print from my phone or email?

Usually yes. Most libraries and chain stores accept a USB stick or an emailed file, and the larger chains have an upload page you send the file to before arriving. Cloud drives are often blocked on public computers, so email the file to yourself as a backup.
